WHAT IS THIS MOVIE...?!?
I don't know if its a movie or if its a show, at first I thought it was from the x-files, but then I wasn't sure. Its was about these kids who were like healers of the world and they all had psychic and healing powers, and I think they were aliens, or reincarnated aliens (but they looked like little kids), that came here or were born here to save the human race, it was very science fiction, and mystical like, it was NOT super hero kids, it was like mystical and science fiction, and they were saving the human race. But it is driving me insane, I cannot think of it,but I just remember it was so amazing, what movie is this from? or show?And I just connected to it very much, it could of been based off of the idea of Indigo kids, which I do believe in and apparently I am one myself.
It was NOT race to witch mountain either, it was older then that, and far more awesome, and mystical like.

I have often noticed that psychics, holistic healers, and other such quacks often refer to quantum physics or quantum mechanics to explain their specific brands of nuttiness.In college, I had the three-semester sequence of basic college physics classes required at the time for my degree (BSc, Mechanical Engineering).
Can anybody give me a quick, one or two sentence definition of "quantum physics?" I want to be able to test such quacks who invoke the term; I even have a few of them in my extended family. They're even worse than the religious nuts ("Merciful Gawd will condemn you to eternal Hell if you do not believe in him, yadda-yadda-yadda!").

Help!- Need ideas for images/decorative items for positivity & to deflect negativity?
Here's the situation:I'm in an office that used to belong to an awful woman who was a wretched, mean woman (I mean she took a sick pleasure in targeting people at the office and making them feel small, miserable. She lived to torture- a psychic once described her to me as a woman with a forked tongue)
Anyways- as karma would have it, she was fired and I got her office (did I mention I was one of her favourite targets?). The office since feels like it's "lifted" and the air isn't so heavy but a lot of her negativity still looms around- people still carry the habit of gossip, some are randomly spiteful among other things. I know these things are not to be entirely attributed to left over negative energy (I can still feel some of the negative energy as a Reiki healer); people do this because they chose to and will be held accountable for this at some point but that's not my mission here.
What I'm looking for are some ideas for decorating my office that will attract positive energies and repel/deflect negativity in such a way that doesn't make my spiritual beliefs quite so obvious (like it or lump it, some people still judge others for their spirituality and I'd like to remain relatively low on the radar IE- I'm not going to do a Reiki cleansing in my office so I can get caught/have stories spread like wildfire)
The ideas I came up with so far are pictures of symbols that represent positivity and change (though I'm not exactly sure of what ones to use). Also, getting a "grow light" and having some little potted plants traditionally used in representing/attracting those energies like bamboo shoots or some flowering plants (again, not too sure which kinds for attracting positivity or protection). I also want to make some pictures myself to hang them up to help me feel empowered/positive.
Other suggestions? (please include background info like what the item represents and some history on it)

What is the name of this book?
I can not, for the life of me, remember the name of this book! I can remember all the details but not the character names... anywho, it goes like this.There is this teenage girl who everyone is afraid of because she has dark blue eyes that are described as "witch-like". She is an artist and her drawings/paintings/sketches sometimes portay the future. She is asked by a woman if she would like to participate in a psychic research thing and is offered a full college scholarship. Once she gets there, she meets a boy with tan skin and golden hair who is a psychic healer, a small asian boy who can do things like crack locks, a girl who is extremely peaceful and communicates with animals, and a very odd boy. The odd boy is pale with dark hair and keeps his distance, but later in the book we find out it's because he is a psychic vampire who leaches the life out of people if he gets too connected to them. They soon find out that the sponsor of the program is up to no good. He has obtained a large crystal that is charged with negative energy. The crystal enhances psychic power but drains and nearly kills the user. He is planning on making a psychic army of sorts. They escape and the girl starts feeding the odd boy's psychic hunger. They retreat to somewhere in Canada (I forgot) to find a tribe of monks who possess the only pure crystal, which can help them. They find out that the monks cannot help them very much, and can only offer them shelter. The odd boy runs away because he is not welcome on account of the fact that he has killed someone (even if by accident). The girl goes after him and pretends to be bad. They both go back to the research facility and live with junkie psychics who are now working for the bad dude. And... I kinda forgot what happens after that. I think that may have been in the next book. /:

Psychic scam laws in Ontario?
Before you say "let him learn from his mistake" , stop. I am. But if there is something I can do, i'd like to.I was dating this man for a while, and he is addicted to his psychic and her circle of "energy healers" literally brainwashing him for years.
Very similar to a story I just read by pure coincidence, I cant paste the link so just google this: "How could a well-educated TV executive let her addiction to psychics cost her £25,000 and ruin her marriage?"
I understand in many cases, if you give your money up to someone for whatever reason --- that is your problem. But I am curious about the laws about this sort of behavior especially here in Ontario, Canada.
The woman praises anyone to my ex who humors her lies either by falling for it, or even just silently ignoring it. When I started dating my ex, advice you would give your partner was in response to questions he would ask with common sense answers. He would still.. daily, mind you, inquire about the simplest concerns (Should we go to this restaurant or that? Is this the right time to go out of the city for a weekend? ect) -- and if her response matched mine, and it usually did, he would tell her. She then convinced him I...ME, was psychic.
After battling this for way too long, I finally spoke up and downright said she is a scam. Of course now her psychic readings and tarot cards told him I am evil and someone in my family is going to kill him.
Alright, so that is me venting. But in all seriousness, I have been spending time trying to find this woman. All I have is an email -- and any name searches come up null. She does not exists. No surprise there.
$300 tarot readings, energy healing, $500 group meditation nights, reiki mentoring, astrological chart comparison where he is now at the point of carrying his chart with him everywhere. anyone new and significant he meets in his life, he gets a chart made for them as well and is advised on how to approach their relationship. It is ruining his life, his career, his finances, his friendships.
I would seriously like to have an officer knock on her door and give her a whats what for taking advantage of naive people.
Added detail:
She occasionally audiotapes their sessions when she knows he wants to talk about dead people from his past. Then she coincidentally walks out of the room with him at some point, forgetting to turn off the tape. After you hear them walk away -- you hear a soft breathing, names being said, or full blown conversations in the background.
They return, and at the end of a session it is replayed and the "Oh WOWWW"s begin.
Note: Her daughter is also her receptionist. Her daughter is also addicted to plastic surgery with the amount of $ they make. Over 100k at age 25.
While she could be legitimate and dead people are talking about noodle soup as he walks out of the room, of course because they don't want him to hear, I suspect in reality her daughter is pressing a remote to turn on audio after theyve left the room as such.
Makes me want to scream.
And he is 30.

Hi I am a 23 y/o f in Ca, I went to the Conscious Life Expo in LA a few weeks ago and a few people came up to me and told me I had what seemed to be a halo in my aura. I also went to an energy healer who told me I did in fact have a halo, and that I was a spiritual teacher. He told me my aura consisted of white, magenta, indigo and a yellow halo. He told me I needed to start writing. I then went to a psychic who is highly regarded in Southern California. She told me I was a psychic healer. She told me I needed to find a current healer to train me in intuitive healing.So, basically my question is this. How common is the halo and what does it really mean?

Ok, I am asking because I TRIED to look up prices on my own. Different sites are listing different values. For example
"Freyalise's Winds" is listed as $1.05 on one site, $0.52 on another, and blackborder says $0.25. I just want an estimate of what ALL the cards would go for on say.. Ebay
I looked at a condition grade guide and all the cards I listed are NM to SLPD. I bought them when I was in grade school, mostly because I liked to collect cards and comics. I may have played 3 games with them ever. Mostly they sat in a small, closed box.
Well that is lame. 2/3 of the rare's are worth about 50cents, crusade is worth $2. so basically the whole lot is going to be like $20/$30? That's nowhere close to how much these things cost to buy. I guess they will go back in the closet for another decade. Now to see how much my fleer ultra 94 marvel cards are worth. . .

I am just not not not not not feeling this marriage. We've got two kids (ages 5 & 3), and everything's stable enough I guess. But this woman I'm married to... most of the time I'm just like "really? you think that? who are you? did I really marry you?"She's just way out there in space -- all into astrology & shizz. Has more faith in psychics or crystal healers or whatever than she does in surgeons or scientists. Constantly trashes "white people" (she's white btw). Believes there is literally a pantheon of gods & goddesses in the heavens effecting the actions and relationships of the humans on our planet.
Meanwhile (as you can probably tell), I'm the standard American atheist/rationalist/naturalist type. And I cannot stand any of that gaddang hokey new-age garbage. We bicker all the time over things like when she says "tonight's not a good night for us to take the kids out to dinner because Jupiter is in retrograde," or whatever the hell she's talking about.
I know you won't believe it from the way I'm speaking here, but I truly truly have spent a LOT of time trying to be open & understanding. I've earnestly tried to be interested & supportive of every single different ethnic-culture-of-the-week medicine/religion that she's trying to turn our entire family onto for the past four or five years, and that she KNOWS IN HER SOUL is the 'true path' (until next year at least). It's one thing to be interested in studying other cultures - but that doesn't mean we have to adopt them as our own. It's so grating to me.
